Three upcoming REV JONES live events have been announced and the dates are confirmed. There are two Oklahoma City shows and one signing session.
First, on Monday Dec 31st REV will be setting in on bass for one show with a couple of his long time friends, Oklahoma City's own 36 INCHES. This is a one time one night only event. The show is at SPINOZI'S in Oklahoma City (303 NW 62nd)... The band will feature: REV JONES- bass / BUCK BUSH- vocals / KYLE LUNSFORD- guitar / KERRY "MYWEENIE" - drums..... for more info call (405) 607-2932.
Second, on January 5th at 12:00 p.m. REV will be doing a Bass Clinic / Solo Performance at GUITAR CENTER in Oklahoma City. For more info CLICK HERE.
Third, on Friday January 18th at the NAMM show in Anaheim California, REV will be appearing at the KAHLER booth where he will be signing photos, talking to fans, and demonstrating how cool the KAHLER bridges are. Part two of the REV JONES interview is now available. The 2 part interview is featured in the Asian Magazine NEW GUITAR FAN issue#7 and issue#8 (a VCD featuring REV soloing and demonstrating a few licks is included with issue #7)... The interview took place while REV was in Taiwan back in March shooting his soon to be released instructional DVD. The interview covers so many topics that they split it into two issues. REV talks in detail about his musical influences growing up and how it helped him develop his unique playing style and his insane stage presence. He talks a little bit about each band that he has recorded or toured with in his career, and gives some info about all of his current and upcoming projects. He also discusses gear, practicing, learning, and shares his theories on bass playing and bass players...

New audio interview with REV posted on HARDRADIO.COM , the interview was conducted at the NAMM by Bob Nalbandian, REV tells the story of what happened on the MSG Asian tour, he also discusses BLACK SYMPHONY, KOTTAK, CHINA BLUE, and FUEL. New KOTTAK date added to the tours page, this Sunday night the 21st KOTTAK will be playing in Hollywood at the CAT CLUB, it is the 5th annual NAMM AFTER SHOW, free to enter with NAMM badge... This is usually the best NAMM after party with lot's of well known guest jamming all night...
Last night at the CAT CLUB in Hollywood, KOTTAK while celebrating REV's birthday invited several friends up onstage to jam. First up was former WARRANT singer JANI LANE who actually played drums with the band for over half the show, REV said "Jani played played the songs great and he had never even heard them before, it was pretty fun.". Joining the band onstage next was TOMI RAE BROWN, she sang lead on a couple songs and did basically a KOTTAK duet on "HOLIDAY", also joining in on the jamming was guitarist RICK PLESTER (black symphony) and vocalist HAPPENIN HARRY. It was a night remember.....
